IRONMAN© 70.3 Raleigh - DISCONTINUED

Wow.  Thank god this race was discontinued.  This was a cluster in so many ways.  The locals didn’t like the race, the course itself was nothing great, and the overall atmosphere from the athletes I interviewed was nothing spectacular.  To say this is a race that I’m sad to see leave the circuit would be a lie.  Ashlynn mentioned the complications on race day which didn’t allow spectators to go to the swim start and messing up her nutrition plan.  The water was over 80 degrees.  If you’re into hearing about races you can’t do, here ya go.
