IRONMAN© Mont Tremblant

Mont-Tremblant, Quebec, Canada

August

This is by far one of the most spectator friendly courses I’ve encountered.  I have talked with athletes from a vast amount of races about their experiences at their race.  This one has a feel that is second to Kona.  The home town feel of the town, coupled with the feeling that everyone is special, wanted, and deserves a chance is unknown anywhere else in the venue.  The race director truly understands that the athletes needs things, deserves things, and for first timers, they will have the details to make their race spectacular.  Professionals get welcome baskets, cookies, and other things, I’ll leave that alone, that make the race experience even better for them.  If you haven’t done this race, you need to do it.  Yes, it’s gonna be a hard race, but you need to train hard and be in shape for this race.  It’s not a walk in the park, but it is a park that you’ll go through.  Stay in town, enjoy it, and this family friendly, athlete focused race venue will not disappoint.

Would I do this race? Fuck Yes.
