Hosted in beautiful Chisago City in Minnesota, this July race has been around for more than 15 years. This course offers a fun small town feel with the challenges of the 70.3 distance triathlon. The swim course is well marked, bike course has gentle rolling hills with no major climbing, and a run course that is quite flat. Parking at this race is ample and easy, as in right across the street. Lodging is quite affordable in hotels and air bnb’s. They offer Gatorade, hammer gel, and water at aid stations on the run. Gatorade and water and gels are offered on the bike. Registration is $100, which is very affordable in comparison to other races. The race also offers an aqua bike, sprint, sprint relay, and half relay for comparable prices as well.
