251 - IRONMAN© 70.3 Puerto Rico – Shannon Florea

I continue this series with my friend and returning guest Shannon Florea.  Shannon was able to not only have a great day, but also break the tape for the first time.  Not only did she get a slot for the 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France, but her husband, Jonathan did too.  We talk about the long run from swim out to transition in this episode and how the run course is actually hillier and has more elevation gain than the 56 miles on the bike.  The volunteers here are said to be truly amazing!  Thank you for coming back on the show Shannon.  I look forward to following you at Nice!
