155 - IRONMAN© Wisconsin - Emma Adriaens

In this episode of the Pursuit of the Perfect Race, I talk with my friend and first time guest Emma Adriaens about her race at IRONMAN© Wisconsin. She had a solid day there but had a wreck on the bike.  This is the second time I’ve talked with someone who wrecked. Thankfully though, she was okay and not beat up too bad and was able to continue on to the run and ultimately finish the race.  After having hip surgery she had to recover before she could get back into the sport.  It was her third time completing the IRONMAN© distance.  It her massage therapist that noticed something was off with her muscles which ended in surgery. Thank you for coming on the show Emma, I look forward to following you in the future and hope you and Joe have a great time at Kona!
