In this episode of the Pursuit of the Perfect Race, I talk with my friend and first timer Tim Oldenburg. Tim is a former Marine and he talks about his training, race, and his mental approach to his race. In this race, he experienced four flat tires and had quite a challenging day at Steelhead, but he overcame all the obstacles and did get to the finish line. While he went to a wedding the day before the race, the lodging wasn’t much of an issue for him. Thank you for coming on the show Tim, I look forward to seeing you at future races. Welcome to the amazing endurance community.
