In this episode of the Pursuit of the Perfect Race, I talk with my friend Khadijah Diggs about not only her race, but her logistics and travel to the 70.3 World Championship in South Africa. We discuss a factors that impact her that may not be experienced by others. She worked exclusively with an apparel company to help her accommodate her religious preferences in order to still maintain cultural respect. Khadijah’s goal and dream is to allow all women, including young women and girls, to see that anything is possible and that dreams can be achieved no matter what your background, race, ability, or differences. I enjoyed learning more about you Khadijah and I look forward to having you back on the show. Good Luck tomorrow at IRONMAN© 70.3 Augusta!
