In this episode of the Pursuit of the Perfect Race, I talk with my friend and fellow Coach from SuperFly coaching Adam Zucco. In this episode we discuss something that is key for athletes to have when thinking of nutrition. Nutrition plans are great, but you also need to have a Plan B for when things go wrong. You’ll recall that he raced IRONMAN© 70.3 Santa Rosa earlier this year, where he had a solid day and placed 4th in his Age Group, which is the same here. Adam and I talk about how important it is to give yourself grace on race day and not allow mental thoughts to enter your head that are negative. SuperFly Coaching has helped more than 60 athletes get to Kona under the guidance of Coach Adam, I am very thankful for his time that he spent with me and I look forward to following him at IRONMAN© Florida next month!
